Shepherd Field Group - Holy Land
Our friends from Bethlehem in Holy Land are going to be here at both Parishes on Saturday and Sunday July 11th and 12th .
They come to us to sell the olive wood carvings and crafts that are hand made by the Christians in the Holy Land. This is their main source of income.
We need to support these people by buying their beautiful olive wood carvings and crafts so we can help our brothers and sisters stay in the Holy Land.
Pray for the Christians in the Holy Land and support them so we all can do our part to keep our Christian bells ringing in the Holy Land.
Thank you for your support and God bless.
The Senior Companion Program offers free weekly support to adults 60 and older, helping them remain independent at home through friendly visits, light household help, errands, transportation (with some restrictions), and respite for caregivers.
The program is part of AmeriCorps Seniors, and all services are provided at no cost to the participant.
They are currently seeking volunteers age 55+ who have a heart for serving older adults. Volunteers receive training, a monthly stipend, mileage reimbursement, and liability insurance.

Our parish is blessed to welcome Bishop Konderla for the Sacrament of Confirmation in July. This is a meaningful milestone for our candidates as they affirm their faith and commitment. We invite the parish to pray for them as they prepare for this joyful occasion.
Fr. David Wheeler, from the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY
will be our Mission Coop speaker on July 25 -26
The Diocese encompasses an area the size of Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island combined, half of which is in the heart of Appalachia. Roman Catholics comprise 39,004 of the 1.5 million people in the area or 3% of the overall population, concentrated primarily in the larger cities and towns.
Of the 59 parishes in the Catholic diocese, roughly 40 rely on external funding to meet daily expenses. Twelve parishes are missions to other parishes in the region.
The Catholic diocese offers the Mission and Ministry Program, providing over $1 million annually for applicant parishes, schools and outreach ministries in the mountains. Our need is greater than this.
